A well-established Legal 500 law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancer to join its Residential Property team in Sheffield.
This is a good opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer who is confident managing their own caseload and is looking for a role within an established team where they can continue to develop.
The role
You will manage your own caseload of residential property matters, dealing with clients from initial instruction through to completion.
Your work will include:
- Managing residential sales and purchases
- Dealing with both freehold and leasehold transactions
- Handling enquiries and progressing matters through to exchange and completion
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
- Keeping clients, estate agents, brokers and other parties updated throughout transactions
- Dealing with day to day client queries and providing clear, practical advice
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and deadlines are met
You will work as part of an experienced Residential Property team, with support available when needed.
About you
The firm is looking for someone who:
- Has experience managing their own residential conveyancing caseload
- Has a background as a Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
- Is confident dealing with clients and other professionals
- Has strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
- Can manage their own workload and keep matters moving
- Works well as part of a team
