Legal Cashier - Durham

Full-time | 35 hours per week

We are recruiting a Legal Cashier on behalf of an award-winning law firm. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive Finance team, with previous legal cashiering experience desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily legal cashiering and bookkeeping.
• Bank and Legal Aid reconciliations.
• Processing client receipts, payments and transfers.
• Client billing and supplier invoices.
• Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and financial regulations.
• Handling client enquiries professionally.

About You:

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Client-facing experience essential; legal accounts experience and an ILFM qualification advantageous.
