We are seeking a Tax Senior to join a well-established firm in Chelmsford, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients while developing your technical expertise and client management skills.

The Role

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory support. You will work closely with clients, building strong relationships while ensuring all tax matters are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
• Assisting with corporation tax compliance and planning
• Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
• Liaising directly with clients regarding tax matters
• Supporting partners and managers with advisory projects
• Ensuring compliance deadlines are met
• Assisting junior team members where required

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• ATT qualification (or be nearing completion)
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of personal and/or corporate tax
• Experience managing client relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and professional approach
• CTA studies or aspirations would be advantageous but are not essential
