Sales Negotiator – Islington, North London

We are recruiting a motivated Sales Negotiator on behalf of an independent estate agency based in Islington, covering North London and surrounding areas.

With a focus on local expertise, clear communication and personal service, our client is looking for someone who can build strong relationships, generate opportunities and deliver results.

The role

You will play a key part in the residential sales process, from handling enquiries and conducting viewings to negotiating offers and supporting transactions through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Registering buyers and understanding their requirements, budget and purchasing position.
• Matching applicants with suitable properties and arranging viewings.
• Conducting viewings professionally and providing timely feedback to vendors.
• Negotiating offers to achieve the best outcome for clients.
• Maintaining regular contact with buyers and sellers.
• Generating valuation opportunities through prospecting, referrals and follow-up activity.
• Liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers and colleagues to help progress agreed sales.
• Keeping accurate records of enquiries, viewings, offers and sales activity.
• Developing your knowledge of the local property market.
• Working towards agreed sales and activity targets while maintaining excellent service.

About you

We are looking for a confident, personable individual who enjoys sales and takes a proactive approach to building relationships.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in residential estate agency sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A track record of meeting targets and converting opportunities.
• Excellent organisation and consistent follow-up habits.
• A professional approach and a commitment to customer service.
• The ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Knowledge of Islington and the surrounding North London market, although this is not essential.
