Event Sales Manager

Bristol | Hybrid | £45,000–£50,000 + uncapped OTE

We’re working with a growing media and events business looking for an ambitious Event Sales Manager to help drive revenue across an exciting portfolio of industry events.

This is a varied commercial role combining new business development with account management. You’ll be responsible for bringing in new clients, developing sponsorship opportunities and building long-term relationships with existing accounts to maximise revenue.

You’ll need proven B2B sales experience specifically within events, media or sponsorship.

What you’ll be doing

• Identifying and winning new business, developing relationships with potential sponsors and clients.
• Managing and growing existing accounts, identifying opportunities for renewals, upselling and increased spend.
• Building a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking and following up inbound enquiries.
• Understanding client objectives and putting together tailored proposals that demonstrate commercial value.
• Leading sales conversations, negotiating deals and taking opportunities through to completion.
• Managing your own sales targets and keeping pipeline forecasts and CRM records up to date.
• Building your industry knowledge and network to identify new commercial opportunities.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years’ B2B sales experience within events, media or sponsorship.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business.
• Experience managing key accounts and growing client relationships.
• Confidence engaging senior decision-makers, presenting proposals and negotiating commercial deals.
• A proactive, resilient approach, with the motivation to see opportunities through to a successful close.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to balance new business activity with account management.
• An interest in digital media or influencer marketing.

What’s on offer?

• £45,000–£50,000 basic salary plus uncapped OTE, with expected additional earnings of £15,000–£20,000.
• Hybrid working, with three days a week in a central Bristol office.
