Project Manager Portsmouth 12 Month Contract – Likely to be extended Hourly Rate – Inside IR35
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Project Manager based in Portsmouth. This role is on An initial 12 month contract basis and is office-based.
Role Overview Ensure their projects comply with Health and Safety regulations; the health and safety of all personnel engaged in a project shall be paramount. Build collaborative relationships with colleagues in other functions, utilising synergies and maximising re-use with other projects wherever appropriate. Manage all project information in accordance with the relevant Project Management Plan and the BMS.
Responsibilities
Project Managers shall lead the multi-function project team to deliver OQOTOC.
Project Managers shall build beneficial relationships with customers:
Identify threats to customer satisfaction and initiate effective mitigation actions.
Interface with internal & external Customers.
Provide regular status reporting.
Negotiate changes.
Act to promote customer satisfaction.
Project Managers shall develop the project plan:
Create a project team environment that will promote success through proactive planning.
Confirm requirements with the Customer to define scope.
State the methods that shall be employed in the execution of the project, utilising standard Company processes and procedures.
Define the work breakdown structure and agree work packages with the multi-function project team.
Ensure a Risk Register is in place and that it is updated regularly.
Minimise the dependency on schedule and financial contingencies with use of appropriate mitigation actions.
