About the Firm

This prominent 11 Partner Firm operates across key regional hubs, delivering accountancy, tax, and advisory solutions to ambitious owner-managed businesses. Known for investing heavily in its people and technologies, the firm’s Outsourced Accounts division acts as an integral financial partner to clients across a broad range of commercial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed business clients, serving as their primary contact for day-to-day accounting and financial queries.

• Prepare management accounts, month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and detailed supporting schedules.

• Complete and submit VAT returns, utilizing sound technical knowledge to identify and resolve queries.

• Maintain accurate client accounting records, oversight of bookkeeping, CIS, and PAYE/payroll-related entries.

• Deliver modern cloud accounting support, leveraging Xero to streamline financial reporting and provide client-facing training.

• Balance multiple recurring client deadlines, anticipating client requirements to ensure smooth workflow progression.

• Support, review, and mentor junior colleagues across the Outsourced Accounts and Business Services teams.

As an Outsourcing Senior you will:

• Build strong, long-term relationships directly with business owners and dynamic key stakeholders.

• Provide proactive financial information that helps client businesses grow and remain commercially agile.

• Implement Xero and cloud accounting tools to automate and enhance financial reporting processes.

• Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to broaden your technical and commercial expertise.
