The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional to support the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving commercial success. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in motivating the team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Performance

• Support the delivery of store sales targets and KPI performance.
• Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Develop local networking opportunities and commercial partnerships to drive revenue.
• Act as a brand ambassador at all times.

Team Leadership & Development

• Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual and store objectives.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training activities.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and development support.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.

Store Operations

• Oversee daily store operations and maintain high operational standards.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently delivered.
• Support stock management and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and customer experience.
• Ensure accurate payment processing and cash handling procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee after-sales and customer service activities.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within a retail management or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Commercially aware and results driven.
• Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
