About the role
Want a career as an automatic door engineer? This is a full-time training role where you'll learn to install, maintain and repair automatic door systems, working alongside qualified engineers and getting hands-on experience from day one.
You don't need to have done this work before. We're looking for someone who is keen to learn, reliable and happy working with their hands. We provide the training, the van and the power tools.

You'll work under the direction of qualified engineers and take on more as your skills grow.
Helping to install automatic door systems, including sliding, swing and revolving doors where applicable
Supporting planned maintenance and servicing visits
Learning how to find and fix common faults
Learning and following health and safety rules, including safe use of power tools and working at height
Keeping the van, tools and equipment clean, tidy and stocked
Completing job sheets and service paperwork accurately

Attending all training sessions and working towards the qualifications we agree with you
Training and progression
You'll learn on the job, side by side with experienced engineers, on real customer sites. Once you're fully trained and signed off, you can move into a qualified engineer role with more responsibility and pay to match.
