Pipefitter – Industrial Project Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria Pay Rate: £23–£26 per hour Contract: Minimum 3 months Job Type: Contract Accommodation: Arrangements to be discussed Job Description We are currently recruiting an experienced Pipefitter for an industrial project based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. This is a minimum three-month contract offering an opportunity to work on an industrial installation project. We are particularly interested in pipefitters with a strong industrial background who are willing to travel and work away from home for the duration of the contract. Key Responsibilities Installing and fitting industrial pipework and associated components. Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling pipework to project specifications. Working from engineering drawings, isometric drawings and technical specifications. Aligning and installing pipework accurately and safely. Supporting installation, testing and inspection activities as required. Ensuring all work meets site quality standards and health and safety requirements. Working effectively with other trades to meet project deadlines. Requirements Relevant pipefitting qualification, ideally Level 3 or equivalent. Previous experience working on industrial pipefitting projects. Ability to read and interpret engineering and isometric drawings. Experience installing and assembling industrial pipework. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to Barrow-in-Furness and work away from home for at least three months. Previous experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, marine or similar environments would be advantageous. What's on Offer? Proposed rate of £23–£26 per hour. Minimum three-month contract. Industrial project based in Barrow-in-Furness. Accommodation costs may be covered; however, candidates who can incorporate accommodation costs into their hourly rate are preferred.
