English Teacher – Spalding

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long Term

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a school in the Spalding area.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons.
• Teach reading, writing, grammar, spelling and comprehension.
• Prepare lesson materials to meet students’ learning needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students with different abilities and learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development.

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualifications, as required by the school.
• Experience teaching English in a school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A patient, organised and enthusiastic approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS clearance, or willingness to complete the required checks.
• Right to work in the UK.
