SEN Teaching Assistant - Doncaster

Reed Education are recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs in a welcoming Doncaster school from after October half-term.

This full-time, long-term role will involve supporting children with Autism and ADHD, helping them access learning, remain engaged in lessons, and achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with Autism and ADHD across the school day
• Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Encouraging participation and engagement in learning activities
• Implementing strategies to support emotional regulation and focus
• Promoting positive behaviour and confidence
• Working closely with teaching staff and SEND teams

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN
• Knowledge and understanding of Autism and ADHD
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage learners who can find classroom activities challenging
• Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
