What You Will Do: - Deliver persuasive presentations that clearly communicate RTI technology value and benefits as a Field Application Engineer - Plan, organise, and execute detailed proof-of-concept work, then build software demos aligned to customer requirements - Support customer proposals and RFP or RFQ responses, ensuring technical content matches what prospects truly need - Collaborate with internal teams to address pre-sales technical blockers and keep customer satisfaction on track - Coordinate and document customer technical requirements with Product Management to help shape EMEA market evolution - Strengthen the sales pipeline by working closely with Account Managers and contributing to sales strategies, events, and technical articles What You Will Bring: - A degree in a technical discipline, with a BS or higher required and MS preferred - 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace and Defence sector within a technical role, including exposure to relevant networking and systems concepts - Strong knowledge of operating systems and networking fundamentals, including topics such as UDP, multicast, VLANs, and OSI-layer switching and routing - Solid C/C++ development understanding and awareness of software development life cycles (SDLC) - Excellent English communication skills, with proven confidence in customer-facing presentations and written proposals As a Field Application Engineer, your work helps enable intelligent distributed systems that support real-world missions across Aerospace and Defence, as well as other critical sectors such as MedTech, Automotive, and Robotics.
