Location: Ellesmere Port / Neston, Cheshire Contract positions Hours: 40 hours per week Vehicle: Company vehicle provided Role Overview We are recruiting for experienced Multi-Traders / Void Operatives to support Cheshire West and Chester Council’s housing voids team, covering properties across the Ellesmere Port and Neston areas. Key Responsibilities * Carry out general repairs and maintenance within void social housing properties. * Complete multi-trade works to prepare properties for re-letting. * Assist with clearing the backlog of business-as-usual, legacy and dispersal voids. * Complete work to the required quality and health and safety standards. * Work efficiently to meet deadlines and void turnaround targets. * Ensure properties are ready for the next tenant within the required timeframe. Requirements * Previous experience in social housing maintenance or void property works. * Strong multi-trade maintenance skills. * Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. * Good understanding of health and safety requirements. * Reliable, with the ability to meet deadlines and quality standards. * Full UK driving licence, subject to company vehicle requirements. * NVQ in relevant trade
