Quality Controller

Location: Near Haverfordwest
Salary: £13.59 - £14.78 per hour

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts

We are recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a successful food manufacturing business. This role is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured, packed, and labelled to the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance.

Working closely with Production and Technical teams, you will carry out product inspections, monitor manufacturing processes, verify product specifications, and identify any quality or food safety issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who is passionate about maintaining high standards within a food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine quality inspections on products, packaging, and labelling.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Verify product specifications and production records.
• Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and complete associated documentation.
• Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, supporting corrective actions where required.
• Maintain accurate quality and traceability records.
• Work closely with Production and Technical teams to promote continuous improvement.
• Support compliance with customer, legal, and internal standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within food manufacturing, quality control, or a food safety environment.
• Understanding of HACCP, food safety standards, and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficient with record keeping and data entry.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
