Packing Operative

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Packing Operative to join our client based in Birmingham Aston. our client is a rapidly growing healthcare and pharmaceutical fulfilment business. You'll be joining a modern pharmacy and fulfilment centre responsible for preparing, picking, packing and dispatching healthcare products and medicines directly to patients.

Your Role

As a Packing Operative, your duties will include:

• packing pharmaceutical products
• Using Tape Guns to box up packages
• Checking incoming and outgoing stock for accuracy and quality.
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are correctly labelled..
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
• Hitting KPI packing targets
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
• Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail when picking and checking orders.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Positive approach to work and willingness to learn.

Pay & Shifts

• £12.71 per hour
• 4 on 4 off rotation
• Day shifts 08:00 - 20:00
• 45 mins unpaid break
