We’re recruiting a Weekend Chef to prepare fresh, home-cooked meals for up to 22 residents per day in a welcoming, non-care-home setting. This is a great opportunity for a confident chef who enjoys cooking from scratch and working independently. The Role * * Saturday and Sunday, 12pm–6pm * £15.00–£15.50 per hour, paid weekly plus holiday pay * 8–12 weeks through agency, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-known contract caterer * Good public transport links What We’re Looking For * * Previous cooking experience and confidence working alone * Ability to prepare home-cooked meals from scratch * Willingness to undertake kitchen porter duties * Reliable, responsible and a stable work history A Basic DBS is required initially, with an Enhanced DBS application if you move into the permanent role.
