Accounts Assistant - 12 Month Maternity Cover

If Purchase Ledger is your bread and butter, but you’re keen to add a bit more to your CV, this could be a very good 12 months for you.

This is a dual-role accounts role with around 50% of your time focused on Purchase Ledger. So yes, you need to be astute when it comes to invoices, reconciliations, supplier queries and making sure everything is where it should be.

But you won't be spending 12 months just processing invoices.

The other half of your role will be working closely with the Financial Controller, assisting with the management accounts.

Maybe you've had a little exposure to management accounts already. Maybe you've only had a peek over the fence and haven't had the opportunity to get properly involved.

Either way, don't let that put you off.

Your FC will genuinely be your mentor throughout the 12-month contract, giving you the opportunity to learn, get involved and build your knowledge as you go.

So when the maternity cover comes to an end, you're not just walking away with another year of Purchase Ledger experience.
