This opportunity is with a well-established organisation in the energy services sector. The successful candidate will join a collaborative finance team, gaining exposure to a broad range of finance responsibilities including reporting, reconciliations, journals, and payroll administration.

Description

• Prepare and post financial journals across multiple entities, ensuring accurate month-end reporting.
• Complete bank, credit card, and control account reconciliations to support financial accuracy.
• Manage VAT, PAYE, and CIS submissions in line with statutory requirements.
• Support purchase and sales ledger activities and wider finance operations.
• Validate and process payroll data, including timesheets, overtime, holidays, and absences.
• Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries while supporting finance projects and team initiatives.

Profile

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or payroll administration role.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, journals, and general finance processes.
• Experience with VAT returns and payroll-related activities.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
