Food & Beverage Assistant – Front of House Team

Home Smoke House is a brand-new hospitality venue in Camden, opening its doors at the beginning of November. A vibrant coffee shop and smokehouse restaurant, and they are looking for Front of House staff / Food & Beverage Assistants to join them in their exciting new venture.

Working as part of a dynamic team contributing toward the smooth running of the venue, you will act as the main point of contact for customers—taking orders, making hot and cold drinks and serving exceptional food.

Role & Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Prepare coffee, smoothies, and other beverages to high standards
• Serve food and drinks
• Clean tables and help keep the restaurant looking clean and tidy
• Maintain an organised, hygienic, and safe working area
• Assist the wider team with daily opening and closing duties

Skills and Experience

• Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous, but a desire to learn and a positive attitude are far more important as full training can be provided.
• The ability to remain calm and focused during peak, busy service hours.
• All candidates must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.

• Hourly Rate: £10.85 – £12.71 per hour (dependent on age and experience)

Shifts & Hours

• The venue will initially be open 7 days a week, with shifts varying between 9:30am and 11:30pm. They are actively building their founding team from scratch, so please advise in your application what hours you are ideally looking for.
• To help manage the flexibility of the launch phase, roles will initially be on a zero-hours contract, meaning they are not able to fully guarantee a set number of hours each week. However, they are actively looking for candidates seeking both part-time and full-time equivalent hours.
