FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a fast-growing customer support business with the recruitment of a Claims Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Altrincham.

This is a client-focused role supporting predominantly older customers through Attendance Allowance claims. You will speak with clients about their health, personal circumstances and day-to-day care needs, then turn those conversations into clear, detailed and accurate claims.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage claims from initial client interview through to completion
• Conduct structured telephone appointments with clients, typically lasting 30–60 minutes
• Discuss medical conditions, symptoms, treatment and day-to-day care requirements
• Ask detailed follow-up questions to fully understand each client's circumstances
• Identify important information that may otherwise be overlooked
• Prepare accurate, detailed and professionally written claims
• Maintain high standards of spelling, grammar and written communication
• Keep accurate client records and case notes
• Manage a busy caseload and ensure claims progress efficiently
• Work closely with the wider team to maintain excellent customer service

Skills & Experience

• Compassionate, patient and confident speaking with older customers
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Strong written English with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable discussing sensitive health and personal care matters
• Able to understand and process detailed medical information
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases
• Previous Attendance Allowance experience is not required as full training will be provided
• Experience within healthcare, nursing, social care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, medical administration, case management, legal services or support work would be advantageous
• A medical or healthcare background would be particularly beneficial
