SJC Legal is currently working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property team in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancer looking to join a supportive and established department, handling a varied residential property caseload with opportunities for long-term career development.

The Role
Manage your own Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
Handle Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages and Transfers of Equity
Undertake title reviews, raise and respond to enquiries and prepare reports on title
Manage exchange of contracts and completion processes
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors
Ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client care
Build and maintain relationships with local agents and professional contacts
The Candidate
Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced unqualified Conveyancer
Have experience independently managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload
Be confident handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions
Have strong technical conveyancing knowledge and excellent attention to detail
Be highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Have excellent communication and client care skills
Be a positive team player who enjoys working within a collaborative environment
