Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join their multi-franchise-approved dealership in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This Senior Service Advisor position offers an excellent opportunity to join a family-run automotive business with more than 100 years of trading history. The successful Senior Service Advisor will support the Aftersales Manager, help oversee a small team and deliver exceptional customer service. Benefits: Basic salary of up to £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Performance-related bonus scheme with on-target earnings of approximately £38,000. 30 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays. Full in-house and manufacturer-accredited training. Monday to Friday hours of 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus one in four Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm.Duties: The Senior Service Advisor will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently. Support the Aftersales Manager with the supervision, mentoring and motivation of the service team. Drive service profitability through effective communication, accurate documentation and proactive upselling. Liaise with workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure efficient internal processes. Maintain high standards throughout the customer journey and support departmental targets. Communicate with manufacturers regarding warranty authorisations and repairs.Requirements: Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Advisor or in a similar senior customer service role within an automotive dealership or garage. Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills. A professional approach and commitment to achieving complete customer satisfaction. IT proficiency; experience using the Autoview dealer management system would be advantageous. Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures would be beneficial but is not essential. Live in Gloucester or within a reasonable commuting distance.
