Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead substantial operational functions within a well-established infrastructure and operational services organisation. This role is pivotal in driving performance improvements and managing complex, customer-facing operations across geographically dispersed sites. Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead operational delivery across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of safety, service, and compliance.
• Manage frontline operational teams, regional resources, third-party suppliers, and contractor relationships.
• Drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all areas of responsibility.
• Monitor and improve service delivery, productivity, and performance KPIs through effective management and innovative strategies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data and operational insights.
• Support the delivery of asset improvement and investment programmes.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Coach, develop, and inspire operational teams to achieve outstanding results and foster a high-performing culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in operational leadership, preferably within logistics, supply chain, utilities, manufacturing, facilities management, field service operations, infrastructure services, or transport and fleet operations.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness with a proven track record of delivering operational improvements.
• Experience managing large teams, assets, resources, and contractors.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• A robust understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
