As a Bilingual Trainee Accountant you will utilise language skills whilst starting a career in finance. You do not need experience of working in finance to apply, but you must be bright, bilingual (a European language and English), ambitious and have excellent communication and numerical skills.

Our client is a successful global business. You will be based from the European Head Office in Bradford c. 3 days PW and c. 2 days PW from home.

Description

This is an opportunity to use your language skills whilst starting a career in finance. As a Bilingual Trainee Accountant, you will be trained to support the finance team with producing the accounts for varies entities throughout Europe. Once you have received all the necessary training, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Liaising with finance colleagues overseas
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end close
• Journal entries
• Ensuring SOX compliance
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Supporting with VAT
• Supporting the wider finance team with finance projects and driving continuous improvement

Profile

To apply for this position, you must:

• Be fluent in English and 1 other European language
• Have excellent numerical skills
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be bright and have strong academics (ideally be a graduate)
• Be ambitious and keen to learn
• Have the right to work in the UK
