I’m currently working with an established and growing contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an electrician looking for variety, with projects ranging from domestic builds through to larger commercial developments. The Role You’ll work across a variety of projects, carrying out electrical installation, testing and maintenance work to a high standard. Responsibilities will include: * Electrical installation across domestic and commercial projects * Installing wiring, containment, lighting, power and associated electrical systems * Reading and working from electrical drawings and specifications * Carrying out testing, inspection and fault finding * Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards * Working closely with site managers, other trades and subcontractors * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism * Ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification About You We’re looking for a qualified electrician who has: * 18th Edition qualified * Ideally 2+ years’ post-qualification experience * Previous experience within construction or building projects * Experience working on domestic and/or commercial installations * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations and safe working practices * Ability to read drawings and technical information * Strong attention to detail and pride in your work * Good communication skills and a professional approach * Full UK driving licence is essential What's on Offer? * Competitive salary * Permanent position * Variety of domestic and commercial projects * Consistent pipeline of work * Opportunity to develop your skills and experience * Supportive working environment * Potential for career progression
