We are partnering with a highly respected and long-established insurance broker to recruit an Account Executive for their specialist Farm & Estates team in Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance broking professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships while also having the opportunity to develop new business and grow a specialist portfolio.

The Role

You will manage and develop a portfolio of Farm, Estate, Rural, Commercial and High Net Worth clients, providing a highly personal and consultative service.

The role combines account management with a genuine business development element. You will be encouraged to build your network, generate introductions and identify new opportunities across the rural and HNW markets.

You do not necessarily need to bring an existing book of business. Of greater importance is strong broking experience, credibility with

clients and the confidence and ambition to develop relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing existing Farm & Estates client relationships
• Identifying and generating new business opportunities
• Networking and developing relationships with clients, prospects and introducers
• Managing renewals and ongoing client insurance requirements
• Identifying cross-selling opportunities across Commercial and HNW insurance
• Advising on HNW risks including high-value homes, fine art, jewellery and prestige vehicles
• Negotiating with insurers to achieve strong client outcomes
• Attending client meetings and relevant networking and industry events
• Maintaining high standards of client service, compliance and professionalism

About You

Previous experience working within an insurance broking environment is disirable as well as Farm & Estates, Rural, Agricultural or HNW experience would be advantageous; however, we would also welcome applications from strong commercial insurance professionals interested in developing within this specialist market.

You will be:

• Confident and relationship-focused
• Commercially minded with an interest in new business development
• Comfortable networking and developing new relationships
• Professional and credible with clients and insurers
• Experienced across commercial insurance, with HNW exposure advantageous
• Looking for a long-term opportunity where you can develop your career and portfolio

Relevant insurance qualifications would be advantageous, or you should be willing to work towards them.
