A temporary Finance Assistant role where your day-to-day work supports something much bigger. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Managing sales ledger invoicing and supporting the wider transactional finance function
• Taking ownership of credit control, primarily through email
• Supporting both accounts receivable and accounts payable, with a stronger focus on AR
• Completing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Keeping finance records accurate and up to date
• Working closely with the transactional finance team to keep day-to-day processes running smoothly

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Receivable Assistant, Sales Ledger Assistant or Credit Controller
• Strong sales ledger, accounts receivable and credit control experience, with some exposure to accounts payable
• Enough hands-on finance experience to get up to speed quickly and work confidently
• AAT studies or qualification would be useful
• Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• A flexible approach and confidence communicating with different people across a values-led organisation
• Driving license
