Forklift Driver Location: Canning Town, East London Job Type: Temporary Assignment Start Date: Immediate Start Available Forklift Driver Required - Canning Town Our client, a busy manufacturing and production company based in Canning Town, is currently looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a valid FLT licence who are looking for ongoing work within a fast-paced warehouse and production environment. Conveniently located just an 8-minute walk from London City Airport station, this site offers excellent transport links and a supportive team environment. Shift Patterns Available Candidates can choose between two shift rotations: Shift Rotation 1 Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm Shift Rotation 2 (Weekly Rotating Shifts) Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am The Role As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse and production facility, ensuring stock is handled efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operating Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently. Loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the warehouse. Assisting with stock control and inventory management. Supporting warehouse and production operations as required. Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies. Working closely with team members to achieve daily operational targets. What We're Looking For Essential Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence. Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment. Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Desirable Experience within a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment. Previous stock control or inventory experience. Flexibility to work across different shift patterns.
