Reed Recruitment are seeking a reliable and organised warehouse operative to join a growing records management operation in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the secure handling, storage, retrieval and auditing of confidential documents and records, ensuring all customer requests are fulfilled accurately and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, retrieve and store files and archive boxes accurately within secure storage facilities
• Check work instructions and associated paperwork to ensure all records are handled correctly
• Prepare files and boxes for delivery, collection and storage
• Load and unload archive materials safely and securely
• Barcode and scan records, maintaining accurate system records at all times
• Support records auditing and registration activities
• Ensure customer requests are completed within agreed deadlines
• Follow all company procedures, quality standards, Health & Safety requirements and GDPR regulations
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers on-site
• Use company equipment safely, including pallet trucks and manual handling equipment

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
• Access to your own vehicle
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good administration, communication and organisational skills
• A reliable and motivated approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving archive boxes, including items stored at floor and overhead level

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience handling documents, records or archives
• Knowledge of quality processes and procedures
• Warehouse, logistics, administration or records management experience
