Finance Business Partner
Manufacturing | Strategic & Commercial Finance | International Group
Remote | Offices near London | Monthly Office Visit
£65,000 – £75,000 + Benefits
A brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who enjoys using data to influence decisions, challenge the business and help shape strategy.
You’ll be joining a large international manufacturing business, partnering closely with commercial and regional leadership across multiple markets.
This is much more than a reporting role – they want someone who can understand what the numbers are telling them, manipulate large amounts of data and turn that into clear, commercially useful insight.
The role has a strong strategic focus, looking at sales, profitability, margins and wider business drivers to identify opportunities, highlight risks and support better decision-making. You’ll also take ownership across forecasting, planning, management reporting and scenario modelling, working with stakeholders across the UK and wider international business.
It’s a predominantly remote role, with the expectation that you’ll travel into the offices near London around once a month.
The Role:
• Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to senior commercial and regional stakeholders
• Provide forward-looking analysis across sales, profitability, margins and key business drivers
• Work with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions
• Own quarterly forecasting, annual planning and longer-term financial planning
• Analyse performance against forecast and prior year, identifying the key drivers behind variances
• Manipulate and analyse large amounts of financial and commercial data to produce meaningful insight
• Build financial models and scenario analysis to assess opportunities and changing market conditions
• Support regional management reporting and translate complex information into clear recommendations
• Partner with finance and commercial teams across multiple international markets
• Lead financial reviews and confidently challenge stakeholders where appropriate
• Use Power BI and other reporting tools to improve the quality and efficiency of financial information
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting and analytical processes
The Candidate:
• Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Strong Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance experience
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand the wider business rather than simply report the numbers
• Strong strategic thinking and comfortable providing recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to manage and manipulate large, complex datasets
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial planning experience
• Able to turn financial and commercial data into clear, actionable insight
• Confident partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple markets or within an international business would be beneficial
• Power BI, OneStream or similar reporting and planning systems experience would be advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
This would suit someone who enjoys the commercial and strategic side of finance and genuinely likes getting into data. If you’re someone who can take a large amount of information, work out what actually matters and use it to influence commercial decisions, there’s a lot to like about this opportunity.
