We are seeking an experienced Electrical HV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with strong HV/LV expertise to join a project on a rotational basis based in Royston, Cambrideshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, control, and authorisation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures. * 12 month contract * Outside IR35 Key Responsibilities * Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV/LV systems * Control, issue and manage permits to work and switching operations * Ensure safe isolation and energisation of electrical systems * Review and approve switching schedules and procedures * Maintain compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations * Provide technical guidance and supervision to site personnel * Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out safely * Liaise with project teams, engineers, and contractors Requirements Qualifications * City & Guilds Accredited High Voltage Senior Authorised Persons Course (essential) Experience * Proven experience working as an SAP on HV/LV systems * Strong background in electrical operations and switching * Experience working on EPCM projects
