Stock Controller - Permanent Opportunity

Location: Andover
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent

Are you an experienced Stock Controller with a keen eye for detail and a passion for inventory accuracy? We are recruiting for a permanent position with a well-established business in Andover, offering excellent working hours and long-term career stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular cycle counts, PI checks and full stock takes

• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records

• Update inventory movements and purchasing data using WMS/ERP systems

• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages and damaged stock

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation

• Support replenishment activities and liaise with purchasing teams to maintain stock availability

• Generate inventory reports and provide stock analysis to management

• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or similar role

• Strong stock management and inventory control experience

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar)

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong numerical and reporting abilities

• Good communication skills and ability to work across departments

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and computer systems
