Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Media Business in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Sales Ledger Clerk for 1-3 months.

Role:

Our client is looking for an immediate interim Sales Ledger Clerk to assist them for 1-3 months. You will be responsible for following duties:

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, payment allocation and account reconciliations.
• Raise and process client invoices accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Manage customer accounts, monitor outstanding balances and proactively chase overdue payments.
• Reconcile client accounts and investigate invoice queries, billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
• Work closely with account management, client services, media planning and commercial teams to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure advertising campaign costs, media spend, purchase orders and client billing details are accurately reflected in invoices.
• Monitor aged debt reports and maintain accurate records of collection activity.
• Prepare regular accounts receivable, aged debt and cash collection reports.
• Allocate incoming payments and investigate unidentified or unallocated cash.
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting and the review of outstanding balances.
• Assist with credit control procedures and escalate high-risk or long-overdue accounts where necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, cash collection and accounts receivable processes.

Profile:

The successful interim Sales Ledger Clerk will have 2+ years experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

This role is paying between £16-£18p/h + Holiday (DOE)
