At Reed, we are currently supporting a local authority with the recruitment of a Domestic Abuse Coordinator to provide interim support during a key transitional period.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in domestic abuse, safeguarding, community safety, housing, public protection, or partnership working who are looking for a flexible temporary opportunity.

The Role

This is a coordination and partnership-focused position rather than a frontline casework role. You will be responsible for maintaining effective domestic abuse governance arrangements, supporting multi-agency partnerships, coordinating training programmes, managing performance reporting, and ensuring key domestic abuse forums continue to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating Domestic Abuse Executive Group (DAEG) and Domestic Abuse Forum meetings
  • Managing agendas, minutes, action logs, and governance documentation
  • Working with partner agencies including Thames Valley Police, Housing Services, Public Health, Adult Social Care, Probation Services, Achieving for Children, and The Dash Charity
  • Monitoring domestic abuse performance data and maintaining dashboards
  • Supporting delivery of domestic abuse training programmes
  • Coordinating awareness campaigns, newsletters, and communications activities
  • Supporting safe accommodation and Sanctuary Scheme reporting

We're Keen to Speak With Candidates Who Have:

  • Experience within domestic abuse, safeguarding, community safety, housing, public protection, or a related field
  • Experience supporting multi-agency meetings and partnership boards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with reporting, performance monitoring, and action tracking
  • Knowledge of domestic abuse legislation and partnership working
