A welcoming and well-established secondary school near Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team from January 2027 until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students through creative and engaging lessons, predominantly teaching Key Stage 4 Drama, with some Key Stage 3 Drama classes included within the timetable.

The Role

• Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
• Predominantly KS4 Drama timetable
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• Fixed-term contract from January 2027 to July 2027

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
• Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for developing students' confidence and creativity
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
