Desktop Engineer & Support | Global Asset Manager | London I’m recruiting for a global asset manager on a permanent Desktop Engineer role in London. This is a small, hands-on team that runs the whole stack. No tiers or hand-off queues, everyone takes first-line tickets and owns real infrastructure. You’d be one of two desktop/junior infrastructure engineers globally and the main technical owner of the endpoint estate in your region. The stack: Azure, Okta, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Cato SASE, Meraki, CrowdStrike, Rubrik, M365 What you’ll do: 1st and 2nd line support for users across Europe, the US and APAC, including PMs, traders and senior execs Own Intune, AppLocker, patching and AVD in your region Take on Azure, Okta, Cato, Meraki and Rubrik work alongside senior engineers Triage CrowdStrike detections and run joiner/mover/leaver processes end to end Automate with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph Some travel to regional offices for rack builds, cabling and AV What you’ll bring: 3-5 years in IT support, desktop engineering or sysadmin Hands-on Intune, M365 and Windows 11 in a managed corporate environment Azure fundamentals and solid networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN) Several of: Okta, AVD, CrowdStrike, Cato, Meraki, Rubrik, AppLocker PowerShell you can write and troubleshoot, not just run Financial services or buy-side experience strongly preferred Right to work in the UK without sponsorship Details: Permanent position £50,000 - £75,000 10-15% bonus Onsite - London If you’re a first-line or desktop engineer who has already been picking up infrastructure work, this is a strong step up.
