Robert Walters is delighted to be partnering with an established international organisation to recruit a Management Accountant based in Surrey.

This role will take ownership of financial reporting across multiple business units, whilst managing a small team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to combine hands-on financial reporting, team management and commercial business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reporting and variance analysis.
• Manage and develop two junior members of the finance team.
• Take ownership of financial reporting across multiple business units, partnering closely with operational stakeholders.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and month-end processes.
• Support year-end audits and ensure robust financial controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies and improved financial performance.

Experience and qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong management accounting experience, ideally with previous team management responsibilities.
• Excellent technical accounting skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Confident working with financial systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
