BIM Lead – Eemshaven, Netherlands Salary: €80,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + €28,000 Living Allowance Location: Eemshaven, Netherlands Sector: Data Centre / Mission Critical Construction Employment Type: Permanent A leading international engineering and construction contractor is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to lead BIM delivery on a major data centre construction project in Eemshaven, Netherlands. This role is ideal for an experienced BIM professional with strong mechanical and electrical coordination skills, 3D modelling expertise and experience managing BIM teams, coordinating design information and delivering accurate construction models to programme. Key Responsibilities * Lead, manage and mentor the BIM team, coordinating workloads and performance. * Establish and maintain BIM workflows, standards and project deliverables. * Produce coordinated 3D construction models using design information, P&IDs, scans and point-cloud data. * Coordinate mechanical, electrical and structural layouts to identify and resolve clashes. * Manage drawing registers, drawing schedules and project documentation. * Produce general arrangement drawings, construction details, prefabrication isometrics and builders' work drawings. * Develop coordinated building services layouts and service support systems. * Manage BIM deliverables and ensure deadlines align with the project programme. * Coordinate with design teams, site personnel, subcontractors, clients and consultants. * Attend design reviews, construction reviews and project coordination meetings. * Integrate discipline models into federated models for overall coordination. * Carry out field surveys and verify site conditions. * Prepare weekly BIM progress reports, constraint logs and resource forecasts. * Support material procurement schedules and project timelines. * Resolve design and coordination issues, escalating risks where necessary. * Ensure compliance with BIM standards, QA/QC requirements and EHS procedures. * Support the development of BIM protocols, systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements * Minimum 5 years' experience as a BIM Lead. * Strong knowledge of BIM delivery on complex construction projects. * Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical building services. * Strong 3D modelling, clash detection and construction detailing skills. * Experience managing BIM teams, workloads and project deliverables. * Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills. * Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
