This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable Site Manager looking for a role that could become permanent for the right candidate. The school is seeking a dedicated professional with previous school Site Manager experience, who can confidently oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, security, and compliance of the school site. Please note: Previous School Site Manager experience is an essential requirement. Applications from candidates without school-based Site Manager experience will not be considered. Working Hours * Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm * Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm * School Holidays/Half Term: 7:00am - 3:00pm Key Responsibilities * Managing the day-to-day operation of the school site. * Ensuring the school premises remain safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained. * Opening and securing the site as required. * Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs. * Managing contractors and overseeing site works. * Conducting regular health and safety inspections. * Ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety regulations. * Supporting with emergency call-outs where required. * Monitoring site security systems, alarms, and access arrangements. * Supervising cleaning and premises staff where appropriate. Essential Requirements * Previous experience working as a Site Manager within a school environment. * Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance requirements. * Experience carrying out basic maintenance and repair tasks. * Ability to manage contractors and external visitors on site. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. * Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
