Business Analyst – Wealth Management (9-12 months FTC)

This is a fixed-term contract rather than a day-rate position.

You’ll be required on-site in Newcastle two days per week.

The Opportunity

An opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to support a financial services regulatory transformation programme, reviewing and improving key client servicing processes and supporting technology.
The programme will consider potential changes to the frequency of suitability reviews, alongside a broader assessment of how effective and efficient the existing processes and systems are.
Rather than treating this solely as a regulatory change, the programme will use the opportunity to review the end-to-end approach and determine what changes are required to create a more holistic and efficient solution.

There is expected to be a significant technology change component, so the Business Analysts will need to be comfortable producing detailed business and functional requirements that clearly establish what the business needs and provide technology teams with sufficient detail to determine what needs to be built.

Key experience:

• Strong Business Analysis experience within wealth management
• Ideally, direct experience of Annual Suitability Reviews / suitability processes
• Experience working on regulatory and operational transformation
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
• Ability to produce detailed requirements for technology teams
• Process and systems analysis
• Strong stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
• Comfortable working on programmes involving significant IT change
