PMO Lead - Transformation / Operating Model Contract - Paying between £450 to £550 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in South Wales, Hybrid Working (2 days per week on site), 6 month contract, To Start ASAP

Your new role

We're looking for an experienced Head of PMO/PMO Lead to play a key role within a major transformation programme, supporting the implementation of a new operating model and driving greater structure, visibility and performance.
This is much more than a traditional reporting PMO role. You'll work closely with programme leadership and stakeholders, providing oversight across multiple workstreams and helping create a more data led, performance focused approach to transformation delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PMO activity across a complex transformation programme
• Drive governance, programme controls, RAID and dependency management
• Support the implementation of a new operating model
• Improve the use of data, MI and performance measures to support decision making
• Provide oversight and coordination across multiple workstreams
• Provide clear, insightful reporting to senior leadership
• Challenge delivery teams and drive accountability and performance
• Embed effective PMO standards, processes and ways of working

What you'll need to succeed

• Head of PMO, PMO Manager or PMO leadership experience
• Strong large scale transformation and operating model experience
• Strong governance, controls and performance management capability
• Comfortable working with data and helping improve organisational data maturity
• Confident operating with senior stakeholders in complex environments
