Our client, an Energy Trading firm, is looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join their team in London.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Take ownership of business development and improvement initiatives, translating strategic objectives into structured plans, clear deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
2. Oversee financial planning and cost management for the Proprietary Trading department in close collaboration with Controlling & Performance Management.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact between Proprietary Trading and relevant finance and support functions, including Controlling & Performance Management, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, and other relevant departments.

You will need to have the following experience:

1. A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Several years of relevant professional experience in business management, consulting, advisory, project management, or a comparable business-facing role.
3. Experience in commodity trading, energy markets, financial services, or other complex and regulated industries is an advantage.
4. A strong commercial mindset, service-oriented approach, and keen attention to detail, combined with the confidence to challenge constructively, influence senior decision-makers, and support stakeholders proactively.
