We are seeking a practical and proactive Facilities Operative to support the day-to-day running of a busy educational campus, helping to maintain a safe, clean and well-presented environment for students, staff and visitors.

Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will support the delivery of facilities services, undertake basic maintenance and repairs, coordinate work orders and contractors, and assist with campus moves, furniture setups, deliveries and general site operations. You will also maintain facilities records and CAFM systems, respond to requests from building users and help ensure that all areas of the campus operate efficiently.

The successful candidate will have experience in facilities, estates, premises or building maintenance, with a hands-on approach, good organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of maintenance helpdesk systems or CAFM software would be advantageous.

Hours: 35 hours per week, year-round. The role is based at one main site, with travel to other sites as required.
