AWS Engineer – Dublin – €450–€550 per Day – 6-Month Contract 167 Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting experienced AWS Engineers for a 6-month contract opportunity with an established technology organisation based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing AWS cloud infrastructure within a complex enterprise environment.
This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across AWS services, cloud infrastructure, automation and DevOps practices.
The position offers hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to cloud infrastructure projects within a collaborative technical team.
Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, maintain and optimise AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS and CloudWatch.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation and automation initiatives.
- Build, manage and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, security and availability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with development, operations and security teams.
- Implement AWS security, compliance and operational best practices.
- Support continuous improvement across cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
Essential Skills and Experience - Proven commercial experience as an AWS Engineer, Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM and cloud architecture.
- Experience working with Linux-based environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting production cloud environments.
Desirable Skills - AWS certifications, including Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
- Cloud monitoring, performance optimisation and cost management.
- Experience within enterprise or managed services environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security and governance frameworks.
Contract Details - Rate: €450–€550 per day, depending on experience.
- Duration: Initial 6-month contract.
- Location: Dublin, Ireland.
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid.
- Start: November 2026.
- Extension: Potential for further contract extensions.
