B2B Sales Consultant / Account Manager Job in Ferndown

Dovetail Recruitment are proud to be working with a local business that is looking for a new B2B Sales Consultant or Account Manager to join their team in Ferndown. We are looking for someone like-minded who not only enjoys sales, relationship building, and account management, but who genuinely cares about the Dorset community. This is a role where you'll enjoy the buzz of sales while being rewarded not only through commission, but also through genuine job satisfaction. You'll be the person who is "in the know" about what's happening across Dorset and play a key role in helping local businesses promote themselves effectively.

The B2B Sales Consultant will inherit an established client base, meaning you'll have the opportunity to earn commission from day one. You'll also be supported by the wider team, including a dedicated Pre-Press Administrator, allowing you to focus on building relationships, developing accounts, and maximising your earning potential.

Full in-house coaching and training is provided for the new B2B Sales Consultant, alongside specialist external media sales training, ensuring you have all the tools and support needed to succeed. Applications are welcomed from candidates at all levels of experience, and part-time hours may be considered for the right person.

• Established client base with uncapped commission from day one
• Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
• OTE of approximately £45,000 - £50,000 (uncapped)
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 4.30pm, with a 4.00pm finish on Fridays

Duties and Responsibilities

• Selling media coverage space within high-quality, well-known local magazines and programmes
• Visit customers face to face to build a strong relationship.
• Creating and securing sponsorship packages that deliver genuine value for clients
• Promoting digital advertising and social media marketing solutions
• Building strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing advertisers
• Identifying new revenue opportunities and proactively growing client accounts
• Managing and developing an established portfolio of customers

Skills and Experience Required

• An interest or previous experience in sales, account management, new business or a sales focused customers service role.
• Happy to receive internal training on the industry
• Happy to work in a smaller business
• A genuine interest in building relationships
• Driving licence and own car

Graduates with a true interest in getting into sales will also be considered.
