We are currently recruiting Casual Support Workers to join our agency team, supporting a range of services across Burnley and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and are looking for shifts that fit around their existing commitments. No two days are the same. You could be supporting young people in a residential children's home one shift and working within a domestic abuse, homelessness, or supported living service the next. The Role As a Casual Support Worker, you will: * Deliver high-quality support to vulnerable children, young people, and adults. * Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. * Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures. * Complete accurate records and handovers. * Adapt to different services and client needs. Services You May Work In * Residential Children's Homes * Domestic Abuse Services * Supported Living * Homelessness & Housing Support Services * Mental Health Services * Other Specialist Support Provisions Requirements * Minimum 6 months' experience in a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Residential Support Worker, or similar role. * A flexible and reliable approach to work. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team. * Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one prior to placement. * Availability to work a mixture of day shifts, waking nights, sleep-ins, and weekends is desirable.
