Job: Warehouse Operative Location: Radstock Hours: 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday (42.5hrs paid) Contract: Permanent Pay: £12.86ph We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Radstock. This is a varied role that combines warehouse duties, forklift operation (full training given), stock control and administration. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse activities. This position involves various tasks related to the handling of goods (heavy lifting up to 20kg), including picking, packing, and shipping. The successful applicant will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Key Duties * Picking, packing and preparing customer orders * Supplying materials to production departments * Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts * Updating stock records * Completing warehouse paperwork accurately * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse * Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently * Supporting day-to-day warehouse operations Essential Requirements * Previous warehouse experience * Forklift experience and/or a valid forklift licence * Ability to complete paperwork and stock control tasks accurately * Good attention to detail * Reliable, organised and team-focused approach * Strong understanding of health and safety If you are looking for a hands-on warehouse role with a mix of forklift work, stock management and administration responsibilities, apply today.
