Adele Carr Recruitment is working with a well-established and reputable Liverpool law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Accounts Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the firm's accounts function.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for an experienced Legal Cashier, Senior Legal Cashier or Legal Accounts professional looking to step into a management position.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day legal accounts function and supervising the accounts team.
• Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.
• Managing client and office accounts, including reconciliations and payments.
• Overseeing client monies, transfers, billing and disbursements.
• Supporting fee earners and Directors with financial queries.
• Assisting with month-end, reporting and financial controls.
• Supporting SRA audits, AML and compliance requirements.
• Identifying and improving accounts processes and procedures.

About You

• Previous experience within a legal accounts/cashiering environment.
• Strong knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.
• Experience supervising or managing an accounts team.
• Good understanding of client and office accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a busy legal environment.
• Legal cashiering or relevant finance qualifications desirable.
