Our exclusive client, a well known organisation in Chorley, are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This busy accounts team need someone with previous accounting experience who is used to working in a busy environment and who enjoys working as an Accounts Assistant.

Duties include:

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and promptly
• Preparing payment runs
• Dealing with queries
• Reconciling credit card payments and processing expenses
• Raising sales invoices
• Managing the petty cash
• Inputting payroll information and supporting the payroll clerk
• Other accounting administrative duties

As well as having a real interest in transactional level accounting, you will have previous experience from either an accounts assistant or a purchase ledger role. You need to be accurate, have an eye for detail and be used to working to deadlines.

In return you will be paid a competitive salary, initially you will receive 20 days holiday plus banks but this increases up to 25 days, pension and subsidized breakfast and lunch meals.
